Ed Sheeran and Armaan Malik’s epic Hyderabad day out before the concert!
Hyderabad: Popular British singer-songwriter and four-time Grammy Award-winner Ed Sheeran performed as part of his Mathematics Tour, titled “+ – = ÷ x,” in Hyderabad on Sunday, February 2, 2025. This followed his concert in Pune on January 30 at Yash Lawns.
Popular Bollywood singer Armaan Malik opened the show at Ramoji Film City on Sunday evening. The son of actor-composer Daboo Malik, Armaan Malik, also took Sheeran around Hyderabad for a sightseeing tour before the concert.
The two shared moments from their day out on Instagram, with pictures showing them visiting iconic spots like Charminar and posing together in matching white outfits. Armaan Malik wrote, “Such a fun day out with Ed here in Hyderabad! Can’t wait to see you all soon x.”

At the concert, Armaan Malik kicked off the evening with a performance that included songs like Pehla Pyaar, Sau Aasman, and Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon. The crowd’s energy peaked as Sheeran took the stage, wearing a t-shirt with "Hyderabad" printed on it. He opened with Castle on the Hill, immediately engaging the audience.
Sheeran, known for his personal and heartfelt performances, dedicated a touching moment to Give Me Love, explaining, “When I close my eyes, I think I’m playing to an empty room, and when I open them, I see all of you wonderful people.” A standout moment of the night was his duet with Armaan Malik on 2step, adding an extra layer of excitement.
The setlist featured some of Sheeran’s biggest hits, including Shivers, I’m a Mess, Photograph, Happier, and Love Yourself. However, Perfect was a crowd favorite, with the audience’s voices nearly overpowering Sheeran’s.
The night concluded with a high-energy encore that included You Need Me, I Don’t Need You, Shape of You, and Bad Habits. Even after the final notes faded, the energy from the concert lingered.
