Accident Near HMT: students saved by quick police

Hyderabad: Jeedimetla police, in a life-saving act, promptly shifted two students who met with an accident on Saturday and saved their lives. Two young students were severely injured in a collision between their two-wheeler and a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus.

The injured persons were identified as Shiva Shanth (19) and Bhanu Kiran (22), both students and residents of Vivekanandanagar, Gajularamaram.

Going further into details, a road accident occurred on 28, June, 2025 at around 07:30 hrs at HMT U-turn, near Jeedimetla police station limits. The police said that Shiva Shanth was riding a two-wheeler with the registration number TG10JTR2587. He collided with an RTC bus at Jeedimetla Depot.

In this incident, the rider and pillion rider Bhanu Kiran sustained severe injuries, immediately, Jeedimetla inspector G Mallesh and staff shifted them to Ramraj Hospital, Shapur Nagar. Further, they informed the parents of the injured about the accident. Presently, they are undergoing treatment.
