Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, carried out raids at 12 locations linked to N. Sridhar, an Executive Engineer in the Irrigation Department, and uncovered assets suspected to be disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Sridhar is currently posted in the CAD Division 8 at the SRSP camp in Choppadandi. He earlier worked on the Kaleshwaram project, which is also under investigation for alleged financial irregularities. ACB officials are now questioning him over his assets and financial dealings.
During the searches, officials found that Sridhar owns a four-storey building in Malakpet, a 4,500 square foot flat in a gated community in Shaikpet, a luxury villa in Tellapur, and a G+3 building in Warangal. He is also reported to have business interests in multiple hotels in Karimnagar. In addition, the ACB noted that he spent several crores on his son’s destination wedding in Thailand.
The ACB has registered a case against Sridhar for possession of assets disproportionate to his income. Financial documents, property records, and transaction details are being examined for possible benami ownership and links to irregularities in irrigation contracts. The investigation is ongoing.
