Son dies after father's assault in Saroornagar
Saroornagar: A 23-year-old man died after being allegedly attacked by his father with a vegetable knife following a domestic dispute in Saroor Nagar police station of Rachakonda commissionerate on Friday. The dispute allegedly centered around the father's employment status.
The deceased, identified as Veeranagari Jaipal, was allegedly involved in a heated argument with his father, Veeranagari Shekar (48), at their residence in New Maruthi Nagar, Kharmanghat.
According to Saroornagar police, the incident occurred around 8:00 PM when Jaipal, a degree dropout, was discussing his father's unemployment situation. The conversation escalated when Shekar, reportedly enraged by his son's comments, attacked him with a vegetable knife.

“Jaipal sustained severe injuries to his neck during the assault and lost consciousness. Family members immediately rushed him to Owaisi Hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, despite medical intervention, the duty doctor declared him dead at 10:30 PM,” said Saroor Nagar police.
The Saroornagar Police Station has registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
